Although Allerton Road is crowded with bars and restaurants, there was a gap in the market between beautiful, relaxed bars and amazing breakfast, lunch and dinner. Being a new challenger, Bloom needed a strong brand identity to make that niche its own and carve its own path in Liverpool.
After immersing into the business and multiple interviews with the founding team and key members we quickly uncovered who their perfect customer would be and began to do market research. Through vigorous research, we understood the customer and their interests and how we can position Bloom to resonate with them.
Our process started with us immersing into the business, its ambitions and opportunities. Through a discovery meeting and multiple interviews with the Bloom team and key partners, we defined a core proposition. The goal was to express their purpose and meaning, of wanting to be the leading baby shower hosts in Liverpool whilst having an incredible, welcoming bar & restaurant.
Through a series of research in Liverpool and across the northwest, we discovered what kind of experience the consumers want. Exceptional food, drinks and service are baseline requirements, with bonus points for a welcoming feel and personality. The dining experience should be unique, but also authentic and real. In fast and iterative work sessions with our client, we decided to give Bloom a feel appealing to host baby showers, diners and casual drinkers.
